Happy New Year everyone!
To kick of the new year with a bang, I have a couple of things to share with you.
Firstly, I am excited to launch a Stamp by Mail Class. Each month, I will offer a kit which will include instructions, card, paper and embellishments needed to make a group of cards or other papercraft items. All items will be delivered to your door, anywhere in Australia. For more information, click on the Stamps by Mail tab above.
Secondly…In preparation for SALE-A-BRATION, I am taking bookings for workshops starting Saturday 21 January. Book now so you can take advantage of the gorgeous freebies that will be on offer for ALL orders over $100 – that’s on top of the usual hostess benefits! Don’t forget, if your guests place orders over $100 they also receive their choice of free product so now is the time to enjoy some craft time out with the girls by hosting a workshop. Book now by emailing me at firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 0401173203.
I look forward to catching up with you soon.
It’s been some time since I shared some creations so… now that I’m on holidays… I have some free time to catch up with you all.
On Saturday afternoon I held a workshop with a group of wonderful women from work and a few of their friends. We started out with some champagne and chatter and then moved into a demo of gift box I shared with the girls to give them some ideas for Christmas gifts. The box was made for Julie-ann as a thank you for being our hostess for the day. After another quick demo, we all made the small note cards that are designed to fit into the box. I love the simplicity of this design and the fact that the you don’t need a lot of items to make them. Item info for both the box and cards can be found below the pic and I have included a link to the box template.
Card: Early Espresso (smooth for cards and textured for box), Cherry Cobbler and Whisper White.
Ink: Cherry Cobbler
Stamp Set: Easy Events
Accessories: Pearls, Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding and Early Espresso 1cm Tafetta Ribbon
Punches: 1 1/4 Circle, 1 3/8 Circle and 1 3/4 Scallop
Adhesives: Dimensionals, Snail, Glue Dots and Sticky Strip

When we finished the note card, we moved onto a more challenging make and take and I’ll submit this in another post because I want to submit the design in the current Just Add Ink Challenge. Be sure to check back later for an update.
On a final note – check out one of the lucky door prizes I made for the day:
HUGE congrats to Elaine who won this on the day!
